The Asbury Design House is a husband and wife team that specializes in transforming interior spaces through their love of design and carpentry. Whether you’re considering a residential space, commercial space, assistance in a new build or you’re looking to maximize the sale of your home, you’ve come to the right place. We at the Asbury Design House offer a hands-on approach and believe that we are different – because we are family. And, we do this simply because we love making our client’s dreams come true, one space at a time.

Our Faves

Our story began in the fall of 2003 in our hometown of Jackson, Michigan. Ben was attending Spring Arbor University while serving as a volunteer on the local fire department. And I was attending a community college, working as a waitress and coaching girl’s basketball. Ben’s focus was his first love, serving his community. And my focus, was paying for my college education. During that time, Ben had been struggling with the loss of his father; and, I was still processing the divorce of my parents after 27 years of marriage. It was then I began to question what a healthy home really looked like. And so, our story began. While we couldn’t have been more different, the foundation of our faith, an unfailing father, served firm enough to build our life on. And four years later, he dropped to his knee, asked me to marry him and we moved to Indianapolis to start our life together. 
 
Ten years later, and we have two beautiful girls, two careers and juggle this sweet little adventure. We’re here because we’ve weaved two of our greatest joys, serving others and turning messes into masterpieces. For me, it all began while drawing up plans for my first dream home in grade school. For Ben, it began with carpentry projects in our first home. And since then, I'm beginning to realize that real beauty lies within these four walls we live in everyday, a healthy home. That’s where honest design begins.

Through our journey, we hope to bring light to the fact that some of the most beautiful things in life are supposed to be messy. Life’s not meant to be perfect, it’s just meant to be lived beautifully. So while you're here, make yourself at home. And, let me be the first to give you a warm welcome to the Asbury Design House.

This is where we’ll develop your vision, learn your objectives, develop spatial planning, lighting designs and uncover the important details of your project as it relates to the budget. Our goal is always to give you the biggest return on investment with your resources available.

Once we have the specifics as it relates to your design project, we can then build a quote for you and your space. This process usually takes 1-2 weeks to build depending upon the scope of the project and other parties involved.

Upon agreement of our terms and conditions, we will place you on our calendar for your design, build or install. Please note, fifty percent of your budget is due at this time to purchase building materials and resources for your project.

This is where your design will start to take life. We will begin building your project and purchasing for your space.
